Homelife Academy (HLA) is a non-traditional private school and ministry from preschool through 12th grade, accrediting the studies of thousands of homeschooling families. His diplomas have been accepted by many other colleges and universities in the United States.

Do they accept families that do not live in the United States?

What is the cost for certification or revalidation of my child's studies?
The price is dependent on the number of students registered, grade level and area where you live. Please contact us for more information.
Does Home Life Academy require any exams upon entry?
Home Life Academy does not require any exams upon entry. However, Happy Sunshine Academy recommends to do an entry examination to place the child in the correct grade level and classes.
How to perform a diagnostic test to see what grade level is my child currently at?

If I live in México what is the process for revalidation of the studies of my child?
The process to revalidate the studies of your child in México is through apostille of the document and translation. Home Life Academy provides Teacher (parent's) and student's ID's,
Report cards, Official transcripts, Diplomas, Apostille/Legalization of documents and freedom & flexibility to teach your child.
Some of these documents have an extra cost depending were your location is.**
At what age can my child qualify for the certification/revalidation of his/her studies?
As early as 4 years old (PK) they can start this process. However, it is recommended to start at kindergarten level or elementary age depending on each family needs.
What are the requirements to be eligible to apply to Home Life Academy?
Parents must have internet access, a valid email address, re-enroll annually, by August 1st or time of enrollment for Happy Sunshine Academy, grades are reported twice a year or submitted to HSA on the days selected by them. Parents and guardians must have a GED or a high school diploma, in case you do not have one please contact us for more information so that we can help you.
What other requirements do I need in order to be part of the certification through Happy Sunshine Academy and Home Life Academy?
You must be enrolled in a full package program and continue with us through the whole school year. If you started later in the year please contact us for more information.
Can I be part of the certification without having the complete package at Happy Sunshine Academy?
This is a really good question, please contact us since we might be able to accomodate you without being part of the complete package. However, you must take at least one course with us per month to be eligible for assistance in this matter. If you want to enroll through Home Life Academy on your own, you can as well! Explain the issue of apostilled transcripts and whether they are recognized by the Ministry of Education.
At the end of the school year, each family can request apostilled or non-apostilled transcripts for their students from Homelife Academy. There is no cost for non-apostilled transcriptions.
At the time of publication apostilled transcripts cost $75 per family, as long as they are no longer than 4 pages. Please note that the cost of apostille is not included in the tuition fee for the year. To apostille your documents is a legal accordance you can find more information here. Many students through Latin America have been admitted when doing this. Some school institutions ask for a translation as well and you must be aware of the requirements in your place of residency.

Some places ask you a proof that you are homeschooling your child in order to remove him from school, can you provide that?
